Miguel Cano
Hello! My name is Miguel Cano, I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico but was raised in Los Angeles, California since the age of 6. I was always fascinated by cartoons and anime from a very young age. I remember drawing all sorts of Pokemon in elementary school and giving them to my friends and classmates. This passion for drawing never stopped since most of my homework margins were covered in doodles. These endless doodles led me to create my own original characters and a want to tell their story. I took an animation class in high school and that’s what started my love for making little animations.
My goals are to create a video game or show of my characters. I think art should be fun! And I want everything I make to put a smile on people’s faces. Although I still want to make art that can make you cry and think. I believe every good story should have a moral and a lesson. Even if it’s just “be a good person” because I feel like we need that in our world right now. The heroes I grew up with fought against social injustices and helped the helpless, I want my heroes to do the same!
